What is this?
Every year we usher in the New Year with the NFBC all time favorite YOYO ride on January 1. However, due to hangovers or near freezing temperatures, many club members have never ridden the YOYO ride. So in 2014 we started the new tradition of the SUMMER YOYO ride. It was a great success with lots of folks riding 30 or 55 or 100 miles.
We will hold this each year in July (on or near July 4th) when temperatures will be as far away from freezing as possible. Speaking of hot weather: PLEASE NOTE THIS RIDE WILL START AT 7AM to avoid some of the heat.
The 100 mile route is beautiful and will take you along some of the nicest and less traveled roads in the southern most part of Georgia. Short options take you on shorter loops or just up the rail train and back. By the way, this ride is called the YOYO ride because there is no sag wagon. You're On Your Own.
Choose your distance, 30-100 miles, and pace, A/B/C/S.
