Sunday was a big day for the MFC training group. You earned a weekend with a picnic ride. Details have been posted for the Cheeseburger in Paradise Ride on July 17. I have a schedule conflict for that Sunday, but there should be plenty of other Club members there. The start time is 9:00 AM. There is no problem with you organizing an earlier start time among yourselves. You will need to copy the cue sheet from NFBC.us because you cannot count on someone else to lead you around. I will forward a ride sheet you can use in case you start early and the ride leader has not put out the regular ride sheets.
It appears that the options will be somewhat shorter than originally advertised. If you can, you should do a short ride on Saturday (around 25 miles). I recommend you check out the Beaches Sundog Ride at 7:00 AM. This is a ride you should become familiar with because it is an easy one to pick up when you need some easy miles. Susan Wallace is the ride leader and her contact info is on the ride description. Warning: this ride is advertised for beginners. They will not be as disciplined as you guys in their pace line etiquette.
