What is this?
Join us as we participate in a worldwide commemoration of bicyclists killed or injured while riding on our streets and roadways.
We will ride in a silent procession at 10-12 mph with a police escort from the Riverside Arts Market to Hemming Park and back. There will be a brief ceremony at Hemming Park.
We ride in the name of Wayne Ezell who was killed in a crash with a motorist while cycling
on the first day of RAGBRAI on July 24,
2016. Wayne was a friend, riding partner to many, and a valued member of our club as Wheelspeak Editor and also served on the NFBC Board of Directors.
Please arrive early enough to be ready to ride at 7:00 PM. There will be a safety briefing at 6:55 PM.
Helmets are required and lights are recommended.
THIS RIDE COUNTS FOR POINTS AND MILEAGE.
