About this event

The ride leader will ride an A pace which is 18-21 mph on flat ground with no wind.  You should feel comfortable riding at that effort for 35 miles.  Faster and slower riders are welcome with a caveats: There typically IS a group that rides in excess of 21 mph; you will likely have a group. How fast depends on who comes.  There typically is NOT a group riding slower,  so to ensure a "group" bring a friend!. :)

I WOULD like to build up a B group.  If you can consistently attend and ride B let me know!

Most of this route has bike lanes and newer roads.  We stop at Weedman's for our break. After the ride many meet for lunch.

This ride is 9:00 am start early Sept through early June at which point we switch to 8:30 to get a jump on the heat. Keep an eye on the calendar
We are testing a new route today.  We will ADD the "lolipop" when doing Bishop Estates.  On the way down Veterans we will turn LEFT into the neighborhood as we did last year.  Our rest stop will be at Publix at Greenbriar and Longleaf.  We will enter Rivertown then take Rivertown Main all the way to the school and turn left to 13.  We take 13 to the SECOND roundabout, then left and left again back to Rivertown Main and out of River Town. Longleaf as we have in past past and at Veteran's turn back to the park as we have done in past years
